V podvečer 30. apríla sa uskutočnilo Stavanie mája, akcia, ktorá mala premiéru v minulom roku. Tohto roku bol máj postavený bez pomoci techniky a to členmi DHZ Pobedim, ktorým pomáhali ďalší dobrovoľníci. Účastníkov akcie privítal starosta obce Martin Lednický. Po jeho príhovore zaspievali príležitostné piesne členovia Folklórnej skupiny Pobedimčan, ktorá si v tomo roku pripomína 60. výročie svojho založenia. / Viď Fotogaléria - Kultúra / /

60. výročie Folklórnej skupiny Pobedimčan

V nedeľu 20. apríla t.r. sa v kultúrnom dome uskutočnili oslavy 60. výročia založenia Folklórnej skupiny Pobedimčan. Program otvorila príležitostnou básňou vedúca skupiny Mária Bieliková a po nej moderátorka akcie Vladimíra Žitňanská privítala pozvaných hostí a prítomných obyvateľov Pobedima. Slávnostný príhovor predniesol starosta obce Martin Lednický a históriu a posledných 10 rokov skupiny priblížil Mgr. Ivan Pastorek. K významnému výročiu blahoželal členom skupiny i riaditeľ Trenčianskeho osvetového strediska Mgr. V. Zvalený. Súčasťou slávnostného programu bolo tiež ocenenie zaslúžilých členov jubilujúcej skupiny.
V bohatom kultúrnom programe, pri ktorom početné publikum nešetrilo potleskom, vystúpil jubilujúci Pobedimčan s pekným folklórnym pásmom Priadky, ktorý čerpá z miestnych zvykov. Folklórnu skupinu pozdravila ľúbivými speváckymi vstupmi ženská spevácka skupina Kolovrátotk z Melčíc a rezkou hudbou, krásnym spevom a temperamentným tancom sa ku gratulatnom pridal folklórny súbor Máj z Piešťan. / Pozri Fotogaléria - Kultúra /.
Na záver príjemného kultúrneho popoludnia sa piesňami rozlúčili so spokojnými návštevníkmi všetci účinkujúci, ktorým za vystúpenie poďakoval starosta obce Martin Lednický.

V nedeľu 20.apríla 2008 o 15:00 hod. sa uskutočnia oslavy 60.výročia založenia Folklórnej skupiny Pobedimčam. Oslavy začnú básňou, následne príhovorom starostu a oboznámením sa s históriou a činnosťou za posledné obdobie. Ďalej budú ocenení zaslúžilí členovia. Pokračovať budeme kultúrnym programom. Účinkovať budú Folklórna skupina Pobedimčan, spevácka skupina Kolovrátok z Melčíc a nakoniec Folklórny súbor Máj z Pišťan. Podujatie pre Vás pripravila obec Pobedim a FS Pobedimčan. Všetkých Vás srdečne pozývame. Prajeme príjemný kultúrny zážitok.

Na výročnej členskej schôdzi 3. marca t.r. sa stretli cvičenky TJ Sokol Pobedim. Medzi sebou privítali starostku Považskej župy M.R. Štefánika Oľga Samákovú, starostu obce Martina Lednického a predsedu komisie športu OZ Jozefa Mašána. celý článok...
Pochovávanie basy

V sobotu, 2. februára sa v kultúrnom dome uskutočnilo tradičné pochovávanie basy. V prítomnosti zvedavých návštevníkov basu pochovali členovia folklórnej skupiny Pobedimčan a Dobrovoľného hasičského zboru Pobedim, ktorí boli doplnení dobrovoľníkmi. I napriek pochovaniu basy nechýbala tanečná zábava s hudobnou skupinou Old boys.

Po viac ako roku činnosti snemovali členovia Základnej organizácie Jednoty dôchodcov Slovenska. Schôdza sa konala 3. februára v priestoroch účelového zariadenia obce Svadobky. Pobedimskí seniori bilancovali činnosť organizácie, plánovali náplň organizácie na ďalšie obdobie a zároveň si pripravili i kultúrno – spoločenský program Z iniciatívy výboru JDS a členov folklórne skupiny Pobedimčan pochovali basu a tiež sa zabavili pri hudbe svojich členov / J. Melichar, J. Vavro, B. Gono a V. Melicher./ Zopakovali si tak úspešné Fašiangové popoludnie z minulého roku a v dobrej nálade sa rozchádzali do svojich domov.
